The invention relates to machine tools, in particular, to tooling, and can be used on boring, milling and other machines in the conditions of application of a wide range of sizes of tool holders.
The purpose of the invention is to simplify the design by reducing the dimensional accuracy in conjunction of the carrier element with the housing and the tool holder.

The device for fastening the tool includes a housing 1 with a tapered shank 2 for mounting and securing the machine spindles in the tapered bore. The end support 3 and the inner cylindrical centering 4 surfaces are made coaxially with the shank in the housing. The tool holder 5 is connected to the housing 1 by means of counter face support 6 and the outer cylindrical centering 7 surfaces. After the contact surfaces 3 and 6 are in contact, the final clamp is made by further tightening the screw 8 by means of a key installed in the hex hole 21.
